My 4-Month Ordeal of Silence: A Warning to All Shoppers 😡
I'm writing this as a warning about my truly terrible online shopping experience, hoping it can save someone else the headache. I used to be a loyal customer, but my recent attempt to get a simple replacement turned into a months-long ordeal of being ignored. My final conclusion is this: It took over 4 months to get my glass returned and replaced and I had to keep emailed and messaging them on what they needed from me, I will never be shopping with them again. I have bought glasses and contacts from them in the past and these last two times have been horrible. Not sure what changed but I will not be a returning customer happy to be done dealing with them. This unbelievable delay and lack of communication forced me to get on the phone with customer service one last time.
Customer: I'm calling about my return, order number 78451. It's been over four months. I have to chase you for every single piece of information. What is going on?
CS Rep: I am so incredibly sorry to hear about this delay and our poor communication. Let me look up order 78451 right now. I see the history here, and I sincerely apologize. This is not the service we want to provide.
Customer: "Sorry" doesn't fix it. I was a repeat customer, but this experience has been a nightmare. It feels like my order was completely forgotten until I reached out, every single time.
