Broken Promises & A Ruined Trip: A Buyer's Warning 😡
I’m writing this to warn other potential buyers about my experience. I thought ordering my glasses weeks before a big trip would be plenty of time, but I was wrong. Frustrating is the word to describe this company - dishonest would be another. They claim 6 days to produce the glasses - has anyone really had them make good on this? Their customer service bot is worthless and I doubt there is any HUMAN reps. I ordered for a trip thinking no problem it will take a few weeks - that has come and gone and no date in sight. Pretty disappointed that they mislead on how long it actually takes probably shipped from China. After getting nowhere with the automated system, I felt I had no choice but to try and find a real person to get answers.
Customer: I placed my order over two weeks ago. Your website promises a 6-day production time, but my order hasn't even shipped and my trip is next week. Can you tell me what’s going on?
CS Rep: I'm very sorry to hear about the delay and the frustration this has caused. I understand you need these for your trip. Could I get your order number to check the status for you?
Customer: It’s #XZ12345. Honestly, the 6-day claim feels like a lie. Your automated bot was completely useless, and I’m just looking for a straight answer.
CS Rep: Thank you. I see your order and I sincerely apologize. There was an unexpected production delay. This is not the standard we aim for. I have escalated your order to be expedited and will also refund your shipping fee for the trouble.
Customer: A refund on shipping doesn't help me if I don't have glasses for my trip. When will they actually be sent out?
CS Rep: I completely understand. With the expedited request, it should now ship within the next two business days. I will personally monitor it and email you the tracking number the moment it's available.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
